Starts at $36,605 without any options. I added nav and brought it to $39,390 with the RS2 package. The blue is a $695 option. I need to put in my order soon.

Mine would be blue, forged wheels, no nav.

expensive for a Focus.

Does the blue really cost more for Ford? Or do you think it’s just a chance for them to make some more cash since they know some people (like me) will want it?

Not expensive for the performance though. Slots in with the STi and the Golf R, with whom it competes directly.

the STi is expensive for an Impreza.

I’m not spending $40k on a car without nav.

according to members on the forum only certain dealers are getting allotments for them, and there are more than likely to be dealer mark-ups /:

It may be a metallic, which does cost a bit more. But the extra cost may just be mostly extra cash for them, which I don’t see a huge problem with.

does it come with super loud anti lag? does the gps read directions like a co driver?

They said it’s a quad-coat metallic paint, which would justify it a bit. I mean, Subaru’s Satin White Pearl is a tri-coat, and Scion charged an extra $395 for it (as Whiteout) on the FR-S. Same deal.
Also, my BRZ had two parts repainted, and the upped the labor and material charges for tri-coat paint. Metallic/pearl paints are a challenge.

Jesus Christ over 600 dollars a month for a Focus...

I have a $50k car with no nav. I’d rather have actual buttons on the dash and use my phone for navigation.

I agree. If I’m spending that much on a car it better come with things like that.

Don’t have an Apple device. Wouldn’t think of purchasing that.

There is a similar Android mirroring hardware available as well. Being able to you use your phone’s superior navigation software through the car’s infotainment system is the future.

Agreed. The RS is going to be built in Germany for crying out loud.

You’re probably right. I don’t like the look of the nav-less stack though. You can tell they design it for the top spec and then shove the lesser crap in there. Makes it look bad.

Nav just gets out of date after a couple of years. It seems like a waste to me when you can have nav running on your phone and connect it to bluetooth so you can hear the directions.

I would get mine exactly the same except I would get the Michelin Pilot SuperSport tires as well

If I were buying another BMW or Audi I would make sure it had nav too.
